Friends recommend this place and it turned out to be the most right decision to book this guesthouse. Room was clean and living room was spacious with beautiful. Host Jenny was really nice and helpful. There's washing machine free to use, and WiFi was amazing that we could use Gmail finally. A lot to explore in this neighborhood.

Warm greeting! I'm host of The Hills, Jenny. I'm now working in an asset management company and would like to add " / " titles to my card. Life is too short and I want to try out things I'm passionate about and see how it goes. I'm also a new mom, and it's not easy to travel with your kid, The Hills will do its best to accomplish your needs and make you feel like home.

Hills Boutique is located in a quiet alley in Jingan Distric(old International Settlement) . The house has 4 suites over 3 floors with a small yard and private terrace, accommodate up to 10 people. Hills Boutique has kept the old Shanghai appearance for almost 80 years while providing a modern standard of living . The first floor includes an independent Cafe where guests can enjoy meals or participate in experience. Compare to traditional airbnb, Hills Boutique is more like a Cafe with bedrooms. We name our suites based on coffee producing region because coffee is in our gene. In Hills Boutique you can start your day with a fresh coffee or sit under the sun on the terrace with friends. Even more, pick some olive and lemon off the tree and make yourself a drink. Living like a local matters. Experience with local people or just say hi to the alley people who has been live in here for half a century is the unique way to explore the city.

Neighborhood info

We are in heart of Jingan District, with Jingan Temple in walkable distance. There are many bars and restaurants around this neighborhood. You can find Italian, Japanese, American, Thai, you name it. With all the night life you can imagine, our alley is on a quiet road with old Shanghai vibe. We offer local life guide and we'll be happy to provide some suggestion whenever you need it. Close to Line 7 Changping Road Station(昌平路), about 5mins of walk, 300m. Direct to Longyang Maglev Train Station in an hour. Line 2 Jingan Temple Station(静安寺), about 15 mins of walk, 900m. Direct to Hongqiao Airport/Train Station in 45 mins. Parking is across the Kangding Road, at 10/per hr, max 80/per day.
