First off, the staff are so welcoming! Upon arrival we just called them and were given the information necessary to get access to the apartment. It is a relatively good location to various attractions in southern Bavaria. It is truly a good value for all that is offered. The kitchen has pretty much all one needs to cook with and store food. The owner left coffee and tea, as well as some other treats. The room had a shower/tub combo and there was an additional WC. For families, there are plenty of sleeping options. There is a kitchen table to eat at, a large screen TV, sofa, chairs, and a coffee table. Also WIFI. The view from the balcony is spectacular. Service hours in the town are a bit limited (e.g., restaurants, cafes), but with good planning one can deal with that. There was also an amazing corner grocery store with lovely owners I would recommend checking out. As for the area, looks like a lot of hiking options, and a chairlift up the mountain is at the edge of the town.
