Comfortable and clean, all details thought through. All 8 of us (2 families) felt at home. Home cinema, table football and a fancy coffee machine are the highlights of the facilities available. The location allows various short trips: to the Rhein Falls, Konstanz and much more. Beautiful hiking trails within a short drive - brochures and booklets abailable at the house.

You are about to book our family-friendly detached house in a quiet neighbourhood within walking distance to the grocery shops (bakers, butchers, supermarkets) as well as the open meadows, forests and fields in 750m altitude. Comfort is guaranteed: timelessly renovated in 2019, with upscale amenities and inspired by caring hearts. The spacious house and the large private garden is yours alone! Expect to find all you need to have a perfect stay. Ground floor: Spacious living-dining area. Fully equipped open kitchen incl. dishwasher. Antique dining table. Barista coffee machine. Warming stove (with uncomplicated oil central heating). Comfortable sofa invites you to linger and watch home cinema. Piano. Conservatory with citrus plants, further dining table, table football, toys. Guest WC. Upstairs with 3 bedrooms and spacious bright bathroom. Room 1: A king-size (200 x 200 cm) comfort bed ("Hüssler-Nest"). Room 2: Double bed (140 x 200 cm) and desk. Room 3: Two single beds (90 x 200 cm), children's books, toys to share and a desk. Basement: 1 bedroom and laundry room. Room 4: A pull-out day bed (160 x 200 cm) and a desk with Smart TV. Laundry room: Washing machine and tumble dryer. Garden: Detached house surrounded by garden with two shady apple trees and barbecue. Two parking spaces available on the property and free public parking. We are a family with three boys aged 5, 10 and 12 living and working in Kampot, Cambodia. As a surgeon and business administration advisor, Elias is currently supporting the quality initiatives of the public referral hospital. We previously were in Nigeria for 5 years. Our "home base" is in southern Germany. Our family places an emphasis on the value that "sharing is caring". This is one of the reasons we believe to be obliged to go beyond ourselves to make both your stay at one of our places as pleasurable as possible and vice-versa also to treat anyone's property we stay at with utmost care and respect. Living, working, schooling and travelling across the world for many years as a family let us feel that our world can be a glocal village: No one is a foreigner. No one is an enemy. We strive to respect and care for all life as we desire for ourselves.
The neighbourhood is quiet and helpful. Within walking distance are Celtic graves and the Sunthauser lake to visit. Beautiful circular hiking trails through meadows and forests lure to rest. A Nordic walking trail leads past the house. The Black Forest and Lake of Constance as well as the fascinating cities of Freiburg, Constance, Zurich and Stuttgart can be reached within 60 to 90 minutes by car.
