We went there in March, to visit the Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein Castle. We booked the accomodation at noon, in the same day with the check-in. We were by car and because of the traffic, we arrived around 22:15 PM (a bit late than the check-in hour, which is 22:00). The host was very kind and he received us, despite the hour and we were the only ones who had a room booked in that day/night. The whole house was empty, so it felt like we booked the entire place :D. The host let us pick our room and although none of the rooms were heated properly, we had a small hot air fan that we used. After a warm bath, we kept the hot air fan on for 15 minutes, on the bed, above the blanket and we slept like babies. If you have a short stay, you want to travel on budget and be close by the castles, it is a very pleasant and cozy stay :). P.S. We drove like 10 minutes from the accomodation to the castles.

The staff was very friendly and the place was so comfortable and not noisy. It’s also so close to the center of Fussen and there’s a large grocery store plus an organic grocery store close by.

Perfect small hotel extremely close to Neuschwenstein and Hohwenschwangau. The owner was so warm, friendly and welcoming! The hotel is immaculate with updated facilities, comfortable beds and great shower. Cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. We would definitely stay here again!

My partner and I spent our anniversary in this beautiful Hotel! We were not able to arrived within the check in time, however the friendly staff arranged for a late check in, which was incredibly helpful! Further they provided us with a card that allowed us to take the bus to the castle Neuschwanstein for free. The staff even helped us carrying our bags. They also decorated our room to celebrate our anniversary, which was super sweet. The room was absolutely clean, it fact, the bathroom looked like brand new. The bed was comfortable. We had a balcony with a great view over the mountains. Perfect location with a 5 min walking distances to the cozy city centre as well as to the bus to the caste.
