Welcome to our recently modernized apartment at the Moehnesee. The “Moehnestube” is 35m² in size and located in a holiday complex and offers parking free of charge. The apartment offers space for 2 guests and is equipped with a shower, a living/sleeping area with a bed (1.60m x 2.00m), a kitchenette and a balcony overlooking the lake. The “Moehnestube” is located on the 1st floor of the resort and is very close to the heated pool which is available for general use from 15. May until 15. September. The sauna is on thursday - saturday availabele from 16:45-22:00 o'clock. On the complex you can find a sun terrace as well as a roof-top terrace. Free Wi-Fi is included in the package. In addition, there is a table tennis room and numerous bicycle parking racks in the residential complex. We put great emphasis on your well-being and are available for restaurant recommendations, advice on outdoor activities in the area and any other questions or concerns you may have.
We are a couple with a passion for travel and nature and are very welcoming to our guests. We travelled through many countries and are amazed by how many contacts we made who shared with us local insider tips of destinations we have not experienced before. This has sparked in us the desire to share what we have experienced with others and so we decided to fulfill our dream of owning our own holiday complex. A few years ago, we discovered the beautiful Moehnesee and immediately fell in love with it! Your hosts Olga and Dimi.
At and around Moehnesee there are many activities available to you. Whether it is sunbathing, swimming, fishing, inline skating, cycling, boating, stand up paddling, sailing or trying out one of the many culinary specialties in the local restaurants and cafes, there is something to do and enjoy for everyone. You can enjoy the great views over the area from the Moehnesee tower, walk along the dam or take a round trip by boat. In addition, various events are taking place throughout the year. We also recommend visiting Soest with its beautiful old town or going shopping in Dortmund. In winter there is the opportunity to skate in the ice sports center and if you make a little detour to the Sauerland you can even go tobogganing and skiing there. You will find anything your heart desires.
