We stayed at the Alte Markt as a stopover on our trip from Paris, FR to Kiel, DE. We chose this hotel for its convenient location, just a few kilometers from the motorway. We had some delay underway, and contacted the hotel by telephone. We were reassured that they would in some way let us into our booked room even if we were late beyond closing of the reception. We actually made it with 15 minutes to spare, and were greeted cheerfully by the receptionist. Note: the receptionist was fluent in English. Our room was located in a separate building, a few steps away fom the main buliding and in close proximity to the hotel parking. The room was large, had a great bed and a good bathroom with all amenities. The location is quiet and provides a good nights sleep. The breakfast was really good, with a large choice of food, both hot and cold. All in all, I give the Alte Markt high marks on all accounts. This is a really good place if you look for a stopover along the A2.

Renovated in 2017, this family-run hotel is located directly next to the spa park in Hamm, a 15-minute walk from the town center. Very clean with good breakfast. Location is good and near bus station. Value for money, cozy and tastefully decorated.

Located in Hamm, within 1.5 miles of Hamm Central Station and 2.2 miles of Hamm Market Square, Lipmann am boll has accommodations with a garden and a restaurant, and free WiFi throughout the property.... A lot of free parking spots. Clean. The shared shower room, was much nicer than expected, I guess they renovated not a long time ago. For 26€ that I paid to simply sleep is good to me, can't complain price/quality. Can't rate the staff because as I barely spoke German, the owner (German person) of the Restaurant/Hostel helped me with payment and showed me the way to my room. Can't rate the service, because I didn't use any, as I stayed only for about 11 hours at the Hostel.
