“I liked my place. I had a separate bed i a female dorm and there were only 2 of girls. The bathroom was inside of the room. Everything was tidy and cute. Also the stuff was very polite and helped me with some key issue. The U-Bahn is not the far from the hostel as well.”

“I was given a free upgrade from a dorm bed to a single room, which wholly exceeded my expectations. Sink and shower ensuite, while the bed and desk made it feel like a simple yet cozy hotel room.”

“Not so far from the center and close to the university. Friendly staff in check in and check out area. Room was quite spacious and comfortable beds. Quiet area, each room has its own bath.”

“I stayed there one week, as I was travelling with my bicycle aroud the Ruhrgebiet. All in all its a good place in a very good locality (in center of Essen, 5min walk from Shopping Mall). Room was clean and ok, only the shower-room could be a little bit bigger. "Thanks" to COVID-19 we were only two people in a 6 person room.... Also a part of the Hostel is a nice bar, where you can grab a beer or make plans for your trips in the surroundings. The kitchen was well-equiped and there is also a possibility to grill outside, even though I didnt use it. The hostel also has enough room to store your bike, if necessary. I would recommend this place.”
