Property info

Apartamentos Tamara is a quiet gay-friendly estate located opposite the Charca de Maspalomas. The Maspalomas Dunes Nature Reserve is made up of three ecosystems: Palmeral, Charca and Dunas (Palms, Charca and Dunes) that run parallel to each other just a few metres from the sea. The entire area constitutes a huge natural space of exceptional value. A little further beyond the Palmeral de Maspalomas is another protected natural space, the Charca, which is located between the sea and the sand, providing a resting place for birds migrating from Europe to Africa. The enormous expanse of sand dunes begins beyond this 'pond', changing its shape continuously, chiseled by the wind coming from the ocean.

Neighborhood info

5 minutes walking from Apartamentos Tamara you can find the lighthouse of Maspalomas, built on 1861. It helped to guide steamboats which covered routes between Europe, Africa and America. Now is a start of a busy promenade area with a whole host of restaurants and gift shops.
