The view, the food, the drinks were all great. The wait staff, bartenders, massage lady, the excursion coordinator (Agnes) were all amazing. The all-inclusive package was worth it. The alcohol was included which we did not know.

This could be a truly 5* villa if the owners took a bit more care and attention to their property , overall it is furnished to a high standard and has great facilities .Lovely pool and views ,great showers in both bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen .
Beds are super king size and very comfortable. The villa also has A/C (although doesn’t work in lounge owners say they are waiting on parts but this was mentioned in a previous review from a few months back )
Nice BBQ and outside seating area
We would definitely book again if the maintenance issues were resolved

Nice resort but very hilly making it unsuitable for anyone with walking difficulties, although taxis are always available so transport is not an issue. Stay away from the very noisy Puerto Rico shopping centre as night time music is excessively loud.

We found Puerto Rico dGC to be a pleasant town, which benefits from much more sun than the north of the island we found (can be raining up North but sunny down south).
Yes, the architecture could be much better, but that is like every resort on Gran Canaria - what happens when property developers rule.
The harbour is attractive with some reasonable restaurants and two lovely informal ones on either end of the harbour (Vivaldi on the Eastern End and in the west - forgot name) it's the only one right on the harbour.
PR has a big shopping mall which I am sure shoppers will delight in, but as we hate shopping... The hypermarket is great.
We had a hired car, but the bus service seemed to go everywhere on the island. It can get crowded to popular places like Puerto Mogan (PM is massively over developed, very crowded and the market by the bus station is rubbish - avoid market days!). There is a ferry service to PM which we used on the return trip. It was a very pleasant trip; we used it to go south one day, just for the ride.
The downside is it is a long journey to get to the inland towns which are further north. As the crow flies, very short, but you have a choice of small scenic roads - loads of hairpins and some impassable if raining - or a long diversion trip up the motorway and still the small roads at the end. Plan 1.5 - 2 hours each way if driving.
Overall PR was probably the nicest resort we saw. We wouldn't go back to Gran Canaria, much prefer Lanzarote, but we had a good time; glad we went and pleased we chose Puerto Rico.

Very welcoming arrival and complimentary bubbly in room. Magnificent view of Puerto Rico from large east facing balcony meant we were able to watch the sunset every night. Lovely infinity pool, where although it was a bit tight for space,we were easily able to find sunbeds. Suites kept immaculately clean by efficient and friendly housekeeping staff. Would definetly recommend the hotel.
Great location overlooking the Marina and close to bars & restaurants. The beach is very nearby too. Loved the fact it’s on ground level so no stairs like many of the other apartments and hotels in Puerto Rico. Nice pool area with plenty of sun-beds in full sun or shade.
Beautiful hotel, Bong the bar man was so lovely and welcoming. Had a lot of fun here.
Location was amazing, just a 10 minute walk to the most beautiful beach. And only a €3 taxi to Puerto Rico for dinner and €12.50 taxi or €4 bus Puerto Mogán for exploring.
the view is incredible, the apartments well positioned between two wonderful beaches: Puerto Rico & Amadores (10 min walking) where you can find also a lot of good restaurants.
the public transport well organized and relative cheap.
