I am a retired midwife and I also provide supported lodgings to homeless teenagers. I specialise in pregnant teenagers and often have mother and baby placements. I have been married to Gary, a civil engineer for 35 years. Our eldest daughter Lauren is a community midwife who lives and works in Oxfordshire and our younger daughter Lydia is a sports rehabilitator, who runs her own business in Wiltshire! Mi Jardin has a Spanish pueblo "village" atmosphere. It was carefully constructed in a traditional Andalusian style and is set in beautifully maintained landscaped gardens. The beautiful blue flag Carvajal beach with its highly recommended Spanish chiringuito Kalifato and usual water sports, is a 15 minute walk away. Please note that it is a 20 minute walk back as it is uphill. Why not treat yourself to a swim in the lovely pool on your way home? Please note that the pool does not have a lifeguard however it is safely enclosed. It is a 20 minute walk (uphill) to the bus stops, shops, pavement cafes, bars and the recommended Indian restaurant Nirvana or 5 minutes and around 5e in an Uber taxi. Aldi is only a further 5 minutes walk away! There is another bus stop down by the beach, and the train station is Carvajal, which is 5 minutes and around 5e in an Uber taxi. Casa Christabel y Casa Annabel are only 3km from Benalmadena Pueblo! A car is therefore not necessary however it would be an advantage if you like to explore. Free communal parking is available. Transfers can be arranged from 20e MI JARDIN is only 3km from Benalmadena Pueblo & 15 minutes walk to the beach (uphill on the way back). The shops & pavement cafes are a 20 minute walk (uphill). Carvajal train station is a 25 min walk or 5 minutes in an Uber.
