Los Robles is an ideal location for a large family group. The views from all areas are stunning. We have many repeat booking from families who come every year. The house has lots of space with large bedrooms and big beds. There is a summer kitchen by the pool which our guests find very useful and often we find that they stay by the pool all day long as there is also a BBQ with dining table and chairs and comfy seating area with shade. The pool area is fenced off from the rest of the garden to prevent little ones from accessing the pool unsupervised. This is a well equipped villa with everything you need to enjoy being in this area. Los Robles is a seven minute walk to the centre of Begur with easy access to the restaurants and bars where excellent food is served from tapas to fine dining. There's lots of choice. This is a medieval village, pedestrianised in the centre with narrow streets where we have lots of charming small shops. The village oozes character and is a very cosmopolitan. There are no high rise buildings in Begur the integrity of the architecture has been maintained. If you haven't already been here it is well worth seeing we would be delighted to host you.
We are a small family run agency that look after this and some other luxury properties for their owners in this area. We have been living in Begur for many years having made the move here from Ireland after years of renting holiday villas in the area. Having fallen in love with the area we are more than happy to share our 'insider knowledge' with the guests who stay. We meet and greet each group of guests. There is a guide book in the house with suggested restaurants, places to see and things to do. Some people love this villa so much all they want to do is stay and do nothing. Should something go wrong we are available to help you out. If you have any special requirements before you come let us know and we will see what we can do. We are happy to pick up or drop off members of the party at the airport if needed.
Begur is the 'jewel in the crown' of the Costa Brava. It is set on the top of a hill overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. To the north and south there are a number of small inlets and sandy beaches. Some of the beaches have restaurants and bars nearby for coffee, ice cream, lunch and dinner. The beaches are soft sand and the sea is usually crystal clear. The village itself is beautiful with narrow streets with lots of Cuban style houses dating back to the 1800s . If you are interested in 'good food' you couldn't come to a better place with more Michelin stars per capita than anywhere else in the world. For lovers of art three Salvador Dali museums are within easy reach. There is a local artists market in Begur each week. Most evenings in the summer there is some form of entertainment arranged by the local council including 'sardanas' local Catalan dancing, jazz, theatre, dancing, something for everyone.
