The natural surroundings and scenery were exceptional (we visited in the fall, late October). We had no idea that the area is also excellent for hiking and nature walks. At night it is so silent and the stars shine so brightly as there is zero light pollution. From the skylight you can watch the stars without even stepping outside. If you travel with kids there is Netflix if you already have an account, and the internet connection is very good. In the evenings adults can sit out on the balcony for a glass of wine. As we travel with our small dog, it was nice that there is a small gate to block off the apartment's designated area so that Fido doesn't try to run off and escape.
