The photos don’t do La Peche justice and that is saying something. We had a wonderful week staying here despite the hit and miss weather. The accommodation is to a very high standard and they have thought of everything! Lounging by the pool and totally relaxing in the lovely garden were a welcome relief on the warmer days. Mind you with the heated pool I still went for a swim when the weather wasn’t so great. Zandra and Lee are a lovely couple, who set the tone from the minute you arrive; really welcoming and attentive. We will definitely be back again!

La Pêche gîte offers high quality accommodation perfect for a couple. It is located in our walled garden of 1.5 acres in the center of Piégut-Pluviers town with your own private access. The open plan ground floor is comfortably furnished, offering superb living accommodation. The property was formally a bread oven/piggery for the masters house. We have converted this into a stunning one bedroom gîte which benefits from natural travertine floor tiles, a fully fitted shake style kitchen; including granite worktops, microwave, hob/oven, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a large flat screen smart tv, soundbar, DVD player and selection of DVDs to choose from. On the first floor there is a spacious bedroom with exposed stone walls, solid oak floor, exposed beams and stand alone bath. The bathroom includes a spacious Italian style shower with travertine tiles, basin and w.c. The living area leads onto a private covered alfresco area complete with BBQ facilities, table and chairs and outdoor lounge. From here you have access to the rest of the walled garden and shared heated in ground salt water swimming pool.
We are lucky enough to call this part of France home and enjoy sharing it with our guests from far and wide.
We are located in the center of Piégut-Pluviers town with shops, bars and restaurants all within very easy walking distance. Piégut-Pluviers is also home to one of the largest markets in South West France which has been running since the seventeenth century and is held every Wednesday. There is also a great swimming lake with water sport activities, walking trails, volleyball, basketball, rugby, football facilities in Saint-Estephe which is only 5 minute drive away.
