Château Garreau is a 170 year old vineyard located 30 minutes south-east of Bordeaux in the middle of a hilly landscape 2km from Cadillac. Enjoy complete privacy with family or friends. Château Garreau has a 70m2 reception room for organizing seminars, dinners, dance or yoga lessons. There is a superb shared kitchen with its adjoining dining room and a chatelain-like living room. The estate has a pool house with a summer kitchen with barbecue and a beautiful swimming pool of 12m / 6m. It is an ideal place for celebrations and wine tastings. The rooms and beds of Château Garreau: - There are 8 rooms of different standards on 3 levels: - The upper floor has the most beautiful rooms: 3 suites with private bathrooms. - On the ground floor: 1 suite with private bathroom. - On the garden level: 4 suite with private bathrooms and one with 1 kitchenette. The cleaning costs are intended for restocking, deep cleaning and maintenance of the park and the swimming pool. The premises must be returned in the state in which they were found otherwise an additional charge will apply. Groups up to max. 15 people are welcome.

The surroundings of Garreau are marked in green on the Michelin maps, which indicates that the region is known for its natural beauty. There is a lot to discover in the little world around the chateau with many hospitable wine producers within walking distance, forests with wild animals, berries and mushrooms in season. Villages and small towns with castles, ramparts, restaurants and typical markets. It takes approximately 1 hour to drive to the Atlantic Ocean and along the route you will find many pleasant villages to visit. Château Garreau is located about 2 km from Cadillac. A small town with both a castle and its ramparts, a lively market every Saturday. Cadillac is very lively with bars, pizzerias, gourmet restaurants, bakeries, fishmongers, cold meats not to mention all of them. In Cadillac, you will find little France well preserved. The American automobile Cadillac was indeed named after this city. The region is also famous for its Sauternes wine, including Château Yquem, the best sweet wine in the world.
