As you discover the capital of the Gauls, come without further delay to stay at “Jarente”, a 50 square meter apartment, located in Ainay in the 2nd arrondissement, right in the heart of Lyon's peninsula, south of Place Bellecour and north of Lyon Perrache train station. On the 6ᵉ and top floor, you'll find an elevator taking you up to the 5th floor. The top floor is only accessible via the staircase. The apartment is located under the roofs of a beautiful 1900s building. Ideal for exploring the city or for a business trip. The apartment is composed as follows: - A first door which takes you into an airlock, then we open a second door which takes us to an atypical apartment under the roof. - Two doors make up the entrance (a wardrobe) and another laundry area with the washing machine/dryer. - Then on your left, a bedroom, with a double bed (140x190), numerous wall cupboards, and a Velux window. - A bathroom, with shower, a large sink and a toilet. - The living room/kitchen area includes 2 skylights and a window overlooking our beautiful Fourvière basilica. This area also includes a sofa, TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, a round table for 4 and a fully-equipped kitchen with all the necessary utensils (Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster, oven, baking sheets, microwave ...) Whether you are in Lyon for business, or on an urban getaway, you will be greeted in a personalized manner by a Cocoonr agent who will introduce you to the accommodation, the surrounding area and answer any questions you may have. Bed linen and towels of 4* hotel quality are provided, as well as kitchen towels, bath mats and a few welcome products. Beds are made up on arrival, so all you have to do is pack your bags and enjoy your stay. Wi-Fi access is free. As the accommodation is under the roof, the ceiling height is not standard.

- The district's main monument is the Romanesque basilica of Saint-Martin d'Ainay. There is also home the Musée des Tissus et des Arts décoratifs of Lyon, and its main thoroughfare is the pedestrian Rue Victor-Hugo (shopping street). Most of the buildings in this bourgeois district were constructed during the Restoration period. - Just a stone's throw from the banks of the Saône, it's an ideal base for visiting the St. Georges, St. Jean and St. Paul districts. - A lot of art and antique galleries. - Many local shops, where Lyonnais and French gastronomy are well represented: bakeries, butchers, cheesemongers, delicatessens... restaurants (including L'école Vatel), coffee shops, tearooms ....
