Maison de Berry is located in the heart of the historical quarter in the bustling town of Villedieu Les Poeles where you can take a trip through history, known for being the "City of Copper" the famous "Atelier Cuivre" ( copper workshop) is located through the stone archway next to Maison de Berry. All shops, bars, restaurants are a short stroll from your accommodation. The property has been updated in 2021 but still retains its charm and character, offering two private guest rooms with modern facilities, the en-suites have fresh towels, toiletries and a hair dryer. Complimentary tea/coffee facilities are available in the rooms, offering a selection of hot drinks. Added for 2023 🌟 A CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST is now available for guests. FREE WI-FI Parking is plentiful around the property including a public car park 100 metres away. If you want to explore further afield, Mont Saint Michel is a 35 minute drive from the property, the D-Day Landings and beaches are just 45 minute drive making Maison de Berry a great place to start exploring NW Normandy and its beautiful coastlines, beaches and countryside. A warm, friendly greeting awaits you at Maison De Berry where i want my guests to feel relaxed and comfortable. Language spoken is english, but my french is improving daily helped by a friendly greeting and smile. I love meeting people and am here to offer any help or advice you may need during your stay, you may even find me riding the train through the heart of the Historical Quarter where Maison de Berry is located, don't forget to look up, when you spot the famous Copper Pot you have found Maison de Berry. Take a trip through history in the town famously known as the City of Copper, visit the Bell Foundry, Museum, Artists Quarter and the Atelier Cuivre ( Copper Workshop) Ride on the train or horse drawn carriage, both depart from the Tourist Centre every hour and wind their way through the streets, a relaxing way of finding your way around this historical town. Enjoy a leisurely lunch or evening meal in one of the bars and restaurants situated in the centre, or head to the Flambèe Des Cuivres for the best crepes in town, located in the historical quarter opposite your accommodation at Maison de Berry. Every Tuesday evening throughout August, there is live music in the square. Visit the large weekly Market on a Tuesday and pick up some local produce, cheeses and wine.
