We had two rooms on the top floor with views of the water, bridge and rooftops. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

The room, though tiny, was as expected. The carpet was a conundrum--it looked old and dirty but it turned out the pattern was such that the old and dirty was part of the pattern and that actually, the carpet was quite new. Still, I wouldn't walk on it in bare feet. It would have been nice to have a bit more space on the bedside table. Otherwise, the room was fine.

this was about what we expected. this is a large, low cost commercial hotel that serves travelers who are only there to see Mont St Michel, so accom's were pretty basic. that said, staff was great, they had a secure locked room for our bikes, and we were next to facilities, restaurants, and the shuttle to the Abbey. we could def have done worse for more $$$. i was happy with Vert.

Window view of room 111 was very pretty with red bush on wall face. It was so convenient to the gate entrance.

Le Mont Saint Michel is one of the top attractions in France. While visiting it, it came clear to us why that is. It is a unique location. Walking to the streets give you an idea on how cities were like in the Middle Ages. Splendid location!

I cannot overstate how stunning Le Mont Saint Michel is.
I cannot overstate how stunning Le Mont Saint Michel is. The architecture is truly one of a kind and the energy of the village is sensational, if you can, stay the night. A visit to the Abbey is a must.

If you truly like to experience Mont Saint Michel and is on your bucket list, forget a day trip and sleep at least a night inside its medieval walls. After the day trippers gone, the atmosphere is surreal and is really magical. Wondering around in the small hours of the day all by ourselves and no one else is like travelling back to hundreds of years right in medieval times. Truly an experience of a lifetime. Its a must and I highly recommend it !

We followed travel advice and arrived very late in the afternoon. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at a restaurant just after the entrance to the island and then climbed the stairs to our accommodation. The island was quiet and peaceful as all the day trippers had gone. In the morning we enjoyed an early breakfast at the restaurant and were ready to enter the abbey at 9 AM with only a small group of people. Upon leaving the crowds were growing as we had heard they would, and we were glad we followed the advice we had been given. Take time to explore all the passageways and the cemetery. Be warned that you will climb literally hundreds of steps.

A magical place best viewed in early morning or late afternoon evening. Otherwise, there are a lot of tourists clogging the narrow medieval streets. I recommend an overnight stay to fully enjoy this place.

This is an iconic location to visit.
This is an iconic location to visit. But like many tourist experiences, it is drifting a little into theme park territory. The abbey is many years past being used in a religious context (in part because it was converted into a prison by Napoleon after the revolution). So the cathedral has lost some of its soul. But the history is rich, and the location is amazing. The views are wonderful, and after the tourists have left for the day, the island is well worth exploring.

The property is centrally located, and the rooms are absolutely beautiful. If you have a higher floor, your windows open out to either the village or the water. Either one is stunning and the beds are extremely comfortable. If you get the breakfast, it is delicious! Everyone we spoke to was so friendly, and being able to walk around on the island after all of the tourists have left was an experience I will not forget.
Very good location close to Mont Saint Michel, "navetta" (bus) frequently riding there and back, station in front of Hotel, many restaurants nearby. Night are silent. Rooms clean and quite comfortable. Nice staff, standard but good breakfast.
