Louannec does not enjoy a seaside as prestigious as its neighbors Penvenan, Trévou-Treguignec and especially Perros-Guirec. It has therefore mainly developed towards the land, even if the number of second homes leaving the vegetation flowing gently from the hill to the sea is becoming increasingly important The highest point of the village consists of a hill in the center of which dominates the church, surrounded by a parish enclosure. The monumental staircase, leading to four massive columns now devoid of doors, gives this place an undoubted importance.
