The house is over 3 floors. The ground floor is reserved for guests. The room is a lovely double with views to beautiful open countryside. - En-suite shower room -A gaming area complete with PS3 & 65 or so game titles -TV with Netflix & DVD Player -Juliet Balcony with a small stream running beneath *There are tea and coffee making facilities as we as a mini-fridge. Please note there are no cooking facilities available to guests except a toaster and a microwave. However there are many restaurants & takeaways nearby
Rossendale is famous for the East Lancashire Heritage Steam Railway, a great history in the textile industry and excellent walkways and trails. Cowpe has some of the most beautiful scenery all year round. For those with more energy in the hills behind the house is Lee Quarry a well known mountain bike trails Locally you might like to visit: Rossendale Dry Ski Center The Hill (TheHillUK) brings a slice of the Alps to Rossendale. Set in the picturesque valley, it is the premier outdoor ski and snowboarding centre in the UK Museums Helmshore Textile Museum. Nestled in a stunning rural location, explore one cotton and one wool mill to learn about an industry that shaped local Lancashire lives and the industrial heritage of Britain. The Whitaker (Rossendale Museum & Art Gallery) is set in a beautiful park at the centre of the Rossendale Valley, Lancashire. Halo Rossendale's Panopticon, 'Halo', is an 18m-diameter steel lattice structure supported on a tripod five metres above the ground. From its position on Top o' Slate, an old quarry and former landfill site situated in the hills above Haslingden in the Rossendale Valley, it is clearly visible for miles around.
