WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. 5 West Winds is a lovely base from which to explore all that Scotland has to offer. Note: There is no garden. Over in the historic county of Berwickshire part of the Scottish Borders region, is the small village of Ayton, not far from the larger town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. Home to a few local shops, a pub/entertainment venue, and a town hall with a clock tower, this village can offer everything you need for the essentials during your stay. Ayton Castle dominates the town, and is built around a peel tower, it was built in the 1850s in the Scottish Baronial style in red sandstone, and is well worth visiting and walking around the lovely grounds. Around 10-miles away is the coastal town of Berwick-upon-Tweed with sandy beaches and beautiful riverside walks on offer, wander around one of the lovely parks or browse the Berwick Museum & Art Gallery for the afternoon. Ayton is a delightful village perfectly situated for enjoying the Scottish Borders.
