We visited as a family of 10 - 6 adults and 4 children. The 4 bedrooms were spacious, each having its own ensuite bathroom. Downstairs there was a spacious kitchen, dining room, lounge and pool room - we never felt on top of each other. On the landing there was a TV which allowed us to set up our Wii so the kids could play games. Outside there is a lovely garden with the hot tub which all the family used. The owners appeared to have thought of everything particularly in the kitchen - the only thing we couldn't find was a toast rack! The owners left a lovely welcome package which was a nice touch. The owners were very helpful before we arrived with information on restaurants etc. It was a perfect location to travel around Northumberland.

Alnside Lodge is perfect for large family gatherings or anyone seeking a break in the lap of luxury. This prestigious home was the recipient of a gold award from Cottages4you, which is an accolade exclusive to the top 5% of holiday homes. Subsequently, this lavish property benefits from 4 en-suite bedrooms, a hot tub, (two with walk-in wardrobes and one with a jacuzzi bath), a spacious living room with Sky TV and a remote-controlled, log effect, wall-mounted fire. Additionally, there is a games room equipped with a 6ft American pool table. Moreover, the property boasts underfloor heating throughout and even has a games gallery for the young at heart. We have a TV and DVD player, and the TV can be configured for games consoles, so it can become a gaming corner if you bring your own Playstation or Xbox. Further still, there is ample parking within the grounds of the property. There is a top of the range spacious 5-person Hot tub, which boasts a full spa range of jets and waterfall feature designed with recommendations from a physio therapist, providing maximum therapeutic benefit and comfort. The accent LED lighting and flowing contours all add to the enjoyment.
Alnside Lodge is situated in the picturesque coastal village of Lesbury, nestling on the banks of the River Aln and set in an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ on the Northumberland Heritage Coastal Route.
