The rooms were lovely. Our teenagers had a double and single room with a 4-poster bed. It had a beautiful big bathroom. We knew we would be arriving very late from the ferry and the owner(possibly Dave?) confirmed that would be OK. He was very kind and so welcoming. We had a lovely breakfast the next morning before continuing our travels. We would have loved to have stayed longer. We would definitely stay here again. It was a perfect location just 25-30 minutes from the ferry.

A lovely place to stay. Spacious, clean room, comfy beds, well equipped shared kitchenette (with fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle). Car park just on the back of the property. Quiet location near the centre of the little town. The host provided all the info needed for an easy self-check-in and check-out.

Just days before my stay at The Creebridge House Hotel, I stayed at The Balmoral in Moffat for £20 more. The Balmoral was an unmitigated disaster, so my expectations were low, but they needn't have been! The Creebridge staff were very friendly, in a real (not obsequious) way to me, to other guests, and to each other. They seemed to find it to be a fun and pleasant place to work, which makes for a pleasant experience as a guest! The pub and lounge were charming and welcoming, the restaurant was cozy and inviting, the food was yummy, and my room was clean and nicely decorated. Outside, there's a big country-pub lawn with picnic tables and a fantastic playground at the end for kids. Best value for money experience that I can remember.

Excellent rural location beside a river. The main reception room was just what we wanted for a party of 11 with a big dining table, plenty of comfortable seating in a spacious area.
The beds were very comfortable and the three bathrooms were clean and modern
