Lovely spacious apartment in a nice location. Very modern & well fitted out with good private parking in a location that is a mere 5-10 minute walk to the harbour area. Make sure you use the Chippy at the back entrance up the hill as the best in Whitby for us & not as expensive as the ones in the Town. Sky TV available for all basic channels & fast WiFi. Would definitely come back to this location as in good location for easy access into Town & a nice walk to the Larpool Viaduct area & Ruswarp for those that want to venture further afield

Cadliam is a wonderful ground-floor apartment in a quiet area of Whitby in North Yorkshire. Hosting two bedrooms, including a king-size and a twin, along with a bathroom, this property can sleep up to four guests. There is also an open-plan living space with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. Patio doors open out to a small outdoor seating area with two folding chairs, while the property has its own designated off-road parking space for one car. Cadliam makes the perfect retreat for exploring this wonderful corner of North Yorkshire. Property now accepts dogs

Neighbourhood information

Situated at the mouth of the River Esk, Whitby is an ancient fishing port steeped in history. The ruin of St Hilda's Abbey is high on Whitby's East Cliff and looks down on narrow streets and alleyways. From the old town, the parish church of St Mary, also on East Cliff, has 199 Steps leading to it and the churchyard was one of the inspirations for Bram Stoker's Dracula. Other attractions in Whitby include the Captain Cook Memorial Museum, Victorian Jet Works and The Dracula Experience. There are year-round events at Whitby Pavilion Complex and there is a blue flag beach and spectacular cliffs and bays to explore. Whitby is in a beautiful region and offers visitors a great deal of variety for a memorable holiday any time of year.
