Kate and James run a lovely B&B! Super welcoming on arrival, they were helpful with recommendations for the local area, and Keswick's offerings of an evening. The B&B is between 5-10mins walk into Keswick, so ideal after a day of activities. The bedroom is a good size, kept warm and snug, with good quality linens and a comfortable mattress. Everything is spotlessly clean. Kate and James offer a number of cooked options for breakfast, served promptly in a 45 minute window for all guests, along with homemade granola, muesli, fruits, and juices - everything we had was well cooked and prepared. The B&B also benefits from a room to dry wet clothes, given the inclement weather in the Lakes, which is really handy.

James and Kate welcome you to Clarence House. As long standing lovers of the Lake District and Keswick in particular, we are committed to offering a high standard of accommodation and service to enable our visitors to fully appreciate this area. We are situated in a quiet street, just an easy five minute walk away from the centre of Keswick and 10 minutes from Derwentwater Lake. A wealth of walks start from our door and there is a wide variety of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants close by.

Clarence House is a spacious guest house with drying room, guest fridge and guest lounge in addition to your ensuite room. We are situated in a quiet street, with plenty of free street parking and just an easy five minute walk away from the centre of Keswick and ten minutes walk from the Lakeshore.
