Property information

The Crow’s Nest is a penthouse studio apartment on the Wharf with uninterrupted panoramic views of the Harbour and the town. It has a large sheltered glass fronted balcony which can be enjoyed in all weathers. Centrally heated and double glazed, Crows’ Nest is the ideal hideaway. Open plan living space This welcoming, bright and spacious L-shaped room contains a double pull-down bed and a double sofa bed which both easily fold away to maintain the spacious appeal of the studio. Kitchen/dining area Fully equipped with fridge, kettle, toaster, ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave and a dining table for 4. Sitting area Comfortable settee, TV. Plenty of hanging and storage space for clothes. Bathroom. Bath with power shower over, wash basin and WC. Two sun loungers are provided along with the bistro set for balcony use. The communal front door is a couple of granite steps up from The Wharf. Inside there are 19 carpeted stairs up to the apartment door and 12 further stairs (all with handrails) once inside up to the studio. A small, well behaved dog is accepted but must not be left unattended. Because of the nature of the low kitchen window this property is not suitable...

Neighbourhood information

Surrounded by 5 golden sandy beaches and bathed in clear light, the picturesque harbour and old town of St Ives is a maze of quaint cottages and cobbled courtyards, restaurants, shops and galleries and is known as "Downalong". Crows Nest is in the town centre and located meters away from the Harbour beach. From here it is a few minutes' walk to all the beaches and the Tate Gallery. Crows Nest is about a 10-minute walk from the bus station and railway station (and the Station car park). The nearest car park is the Island, however, during busy times this does fill up very quickly. The next nearest parking area is the Barnoon car park.
