Driftwood Corner is a unique seaside family holiday home 150m from the beach at East Preston, West Sussex Dog friendly and perfect for family get togethers! "Absolutely amazing place for the whole family - 3 generations!" THINGS TO NOTE: child friendly travel cot & highchair available. Dogs welcome by prior request. This house is not suitable for parties being situated in a quiet residential area with close neighbours. Access via keysafe. On site parking for 2 cars and an EV charger available for guest use. I live with my husband Mark and our dog, Nala next door to the house and we run Driftwood Stays, our holiday rental business from here. We raised our family here over the past 16 years and now the kids have flown the nest we want to share this magical place with other families so that they can enjoy all this seaside haven has to offer! The house is situated on the lovely Angmering on Sea private beach estate within the seaside village of East Preston. The year round dog friendly beach is relatively quiet compared to the more touristy areas further along the coast and with its greensward behind the beach it is a great place for walks either on or behind the beach with plenty of refreshment stops along the way. Watersports are popular and the lagoon that forms at low tide provides a safe haven for young children to enjoy. A great selection of cafes, pubs, restaurants and convenience stores are all within walking distance. If you want to try your hand at watersports there is a brand new dedicated centre at Littlehampton - 10 mins by car. Ask us for more details. Driftwood Corner is 1.5 hours drive from London. The nearest train station (Angmering) is 5 mins drive or a 20 min walk away with frequent trains to Brighton, Chichester, London. If you fancy a day out there are so many things to do nearby such as go into the South Downs - 10 mins by car, visit the historic town of Arundel, spend a day wandering the lanes and seeing the sites of Brighton, or join in with the various famous Goodwood festivals.
