Tucked away behind hedges and approached via a wooden footbridge, Foley’s Cottage is every inch the English country cottage – thatched, detached, tucked away on a quiet lane, surrounded by a garden. The bedrooms host one king size double bed on the first floor, while a second king size double can be found on the second floor with bath, shower and hand-held shower and basin. On the ground floor you will find shower room with shower, basin and WC. The kitchen and dining rooms are inhabited by good quality furnishings as well as muted and restful colours, helping guests to unwind in Foley’s Cottage. Note: Small children should be supervised in the garden due to changes in level and steep spiral staircase leading to patio area. This may also not be suitable for those with limited Due to the nature of this property, ceilings are low and may not be suitable for taller people.

Situated in the Wylye Valley, the location of Foley’s Cottage is brilliant for exploring the surrounding areas of Wiltshire. For those that like the outdoors, there are plenty of paths, bridle and cycleways, with direct access onto the Wessex Ridgeway, which runs along the western boundary of the cottage. Further afield but still within easy reach by car are the cathedral city of Salisbury is about half an hour’s drive. Frome is also a charming and vibrant town, worth a visit. Nearby Lacock Abbey is a must see for Harry Potter fans, as it was the backdrop for many scenes in filming.
