Really lovely stay. Very easy to access using the information provided and the helpline was very useful to ask questions. The room was clean and contained useful items (hairdryer, tea and coffee etc.) Great location on the highstreet with lots to do and plenty of shops nearby.

Beautiful room in a tranquil location. Lovely bath and very comfortable bed. Sadly the restaurant wasn’t open in the evening but the haddock for breakfast was the best I’ve had!

Breakfast was excellent. Cooked to order. Impeccable service from all staff that we had contact with.
The best of Lincolnshire is surely here.
Undoubtedly classy and unashamedly proud.
There is a sense of the medieval, but without the plagues or the ducking stools.
Fayre play to the locals..my time is ended, but set to return!

We were in the area walking and stayed in Market Rasen as it was the nearest town. The surrounding area and villages (Tealby and Walesby to name two) are beautiful and there are some great walks nearby. The Wolds Edge farm shop and cafe is superb. The Aston Arms in Market Rasen is a proper old fashioned pub with proper home cooked food.

A Lincolnshire market town.
A Lincolnshire market town.
Plenty of facilities but it seems to have had it`s soul destroyed.
Probably due to the car and people wanting to move to the cities.
Would`ve been full of life in it`s day.
The eateries and pubs are trying their best, but the town seems to be dying, such a shame, this is my impression, I hope I`m wrong, but this is how it feels, I don`t know what it is like on race day though.
A lovely town on the whole though, same as many other rural towns and villages.

The visit was primarily to see old friend.
The visit was primarily to see old friend. Needed overnight stay after 4 hour drive + visit. The Olive did exactly what it said on the tin.
It was made perfectly clear that no food provision included merely tea/coffee facility

We attended Market Rasen for a horse racing fixture.
We attended Market Rasen for a horse racing fixture. We have been many times and find the market town great for a lunchtime visit with plenty of pubs and coffee shops. Having stayed in accommodation in the town previously found it too noisy at night and this time stayed a few miles away. Have been to the town evening eateries and not the best of food so this time went self catering.
Arrived at the hotel on the afternoon of 27.08.22 , as booked. Only to find the place completely deserted . Tried calling the number i had for the hotel , with no responce .
Only to when i got home , via email , i learn that the establishment had ceased trading on the 12-08-22 ...... !!!!
The room was clean and very comfortable, all the facilities were very good , the staff were all very helpful and kind , the food was excellent and beautifully presented , we would highly recommend this hotel .
Very comfortable bed. Very clean. Easy self check in. Free parking in square or cheap parking near by. Local shops, pubs, takeaways, cafe and a gym near by. Coffee machine. Would stay again.
