Welcome to Hascombe Accommodation. We are a small equestrian property tucked away on the edge of the quintessential English village of Hascombe in the heart of the Surrey Hills. It is the perfect romantic getaway or the ideal base for a walking or cycling holiday. Our on-site equines graze the adjacent paddocks and often greet you ‘good morning’ with a gentle whinny while you enjoy your breakfast from the patio. Walks from the Cottage are plentiful, but bring your walking shoes and a torch for the evening - we are in the heart of the country with no street lights and plenty of mud in the winter months! Stable Cottage is situated away from the main house and overlooks the stables and paddocks. It has its own private drive, decking, patio, BBQ and secure parking. During the summer months, the patio enjoys the sun for most of the day and is the ideal place to watch the sun go down while sipping a glass of wine! Bijoux and comfortable, with a luxurious feel, the Cottage is a studio style design with the main living area having a double bed, table and chairs, TV/DVD and kitchen. There is also a separate bathroom. Inside you will fine good quality cotton sheets, with faux fur throws and cushions, SMART TV services (Netflix etc), with DVD player, Mini Nest speaker (Iphone compatible), Electric shower, kitchenette with combi microwave oven, kettle/toaster and cafetiere. Milk, tea and coffee supplied on arrival, with basic breakfast supplies for your first morning. We welcome well behaved dogs - maximum of 2. There is however a charge of 15 GBP per dog per stay and dogs must not be left unattended at any time. Please contact us direct prior to your stay so we can arrange payment.

Sara & Dan are friendly and accommodating and are more than happy to share their local knowledge with guests. Get in touch if you have any questions or need to know anything prior to or during your stay.

We have stunning walks direct from the property, with a number of National Trust parks only a short drive away. There are many cycle routes on our doorstep with the famous Box Hill trail approximately 20 miles away. The countryside surrounding Hascombe is a walker’s paradise with the White Horse Pub being a great central point to walk from or to! The food is scrumptious and they serve local ale, and have a fabulous wine list. In the winter months the bar area is cosy & warm - a welcome treat after a long winters ramble. Dogs are of course always welcome! Although there are many other great places to eat nearby, The Horse Guards Inn (Petworth) and Noah’s Ark (Lurgashall) deserve a mention. Both cosy, warm and serving fresh locally sourced ingredients and catering for people looking for a traditional pub meal with an upmarket twist! The Goodwood Estate (Petworth) and Petworth Park are only 20 minutes away both offering super walks as well as another stunning stately home to explore. Godalming town centre is a pleasant morning's mooch with plenty of coffee shops to pop into and for some more hard core shopping we are only 9 miles from the historic and vibrant county town of Guildford, with its quaint cobbled High Street and wealth of attractions.
