Oh my! Where do we start? Anne is the perfect host. Attentive without being intrusive, Keen to understand and satisfy the minutest details. Superb breakfast with completely organic food. Home-made bread - oh please, YOU need to taste it! Anne made us special herbal omelletes like we've never tasted before. SO good. Danish pastries freshly made. Natural honey, preserves, natural ground coffee, herbal infusions. Large bathroom. Free access. Free parking. Superb location walk to City Centre. Running out of words. This is not your typical AirBnB. This is a warm and lovely experience.

I took my partner for a birthday trip and we had a great stay. The house is on the door step to the centre of the city meant we could explore as much as possible and then stroll back late evening. Ann was lovely and attentive and we couldn't have asked for better

The main reason why you would want to stay here is the owner, Anne. We only stayed two nights but it was like leaving a friend when it was time to go. A snug bedroom (it is a small 3-bed house) was all we needed. The location is fantastic as you are just 10-15 minutes walk away from the centre of Norwich, which by the way is a lovely city. We aren't Vegans, and Anne is a flexitarian, but everything is built around your comfort and needs. Due to the pandemic a cooked breakfast wasn't offered unfortunately but she did take us for our first Vegan breakfast which was delicious and filling. She did bake us some pastries for breakfast the next morning, also delicious! If we are ever down that part of the country again will definitely stay again. Check it out!

  • Hello, do you have a room with en-suite or a private bathroom. Thank you.
    Thank you for your query. At the moment I'm only taking one booking at a time which means that the upstairs bathroom and shower is exclusively for the use of this guest/s. It is not en-suite but only 4 steps from the bedroom.

Homestay Norwich is a small B&B with a big heart. It is my home and I let out one of the rooms. It may not have the facilities of a hotel but does provide a warm, peaceful, friendly 'home from home' alongside my genuine desire for you to have a wonderful stay in this fine city. There's no TV, however free and fast wifi means you can use your device to watch programmes. It's a vegan house and breakfasts are served in the dining room downstairs between 7-9am. You can choose from cereals, vegan pastries, fruit and/or a plant-based Full English for a little extra cost. There's information in every room about the marvels of Norwich and I'm always happy to advise on good restaurants, cafes, exhibitions etc. My home is warm, colourful, eco-friendly and full of books which you are welcome to browse during your stay. All welcome!
I am a retired business coach and tutor and keep fit by running fitness and wellbeing classes for older people. I'm passionate about permaculture and supporting local business. I love food and am always trying out new healthy recipes. I also love Norwich which is friendly, safe, inclusive, charming and full of history.
Norwich centre is only 15 minutes walk away and there are takeaways, shops and restaurants at the top of the road. Norwich has a wonderful independent cinema, 1,500 medieval buildings, two cathedrals, two universities, award winning pubs, is in the top ten shopping destinations in the country & is rich in history. Regularly voted a top city for quality of life and an excellent place to bring up children.
