We found our whole experience wonderful and it was a pleasure to have met the owners who were two of the most friendliest and welcoming people we have met. The only regret is our stay was for one night. We felt at home the moment we walked inside. We will most certainly be returning when we next visit Wales.

Excellent breakfast. Sandy and Dave are very friendly, especially important if traveling alone. I also ADORE the tea and coffee making facilities in the room 😃
On Llandudno seafront, The Marine Hotel enjoys stunning views across the Irish Sea, and offers en suite rooms and free WiFi in public areas.

We know Llandudno quite well so we knew were the Hotel was. We wanted a sea view because we now live in the Midlands far from the sea! I thought that I had booked B &B but had made a mistake with the booking so we paid £10 each per day for the breakfast.
Set in Llandudno, 70 metres from Llandudno North Shore Beach, The County Hotel offers accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking, a restaurant and a bar.

Although part of Colwyn bay Rhos on sea could not be more different from main Colwyn bay town both old and new. While I found main Colwyn bay quite dated and in need of some tlc,Rhos on sea itself is a delightful place to be with the beach and surrounding properties along with no overcrowding making in my opinion the little gem it is.

We stayed in Rhos on Sea at the Whithall B&B which was cosy with lovely staff and welcoming atmosphere, also a fab breakfast. The Beach which is opposite, was clean and tidy and is currently (Aug 2023) undergoing redevelopment/upgrade of the promenade. There are a handlful of local shops and amenities, as well as a couple of lovely bars and tap rooms. We highly recommend a visit to Grape to the Glass, a lovely cosy wine bar/tap room. The staff were fabulous and had a wealth of knowledge regarding the wine etc that they also sell by the bottle/can. Also a walk along the coast approx 2 miles towards Penrhyn Bay where there is the lovely Beach Cafe

Lovely area so close to so many things to do, all the beaches are really clean with brilliant views. We visited Rhyl, Llandudno, Tonwy, Rhos on sea, Conwy, the Welsh Mountain zoo, the local castles, the local Farm Park and also just stopped along the coast road to access the beach for the kids. Would definitely recommend! And would recommend a trip to Hickorys to eat out which is just along the road!

Colwyn Bay didn’t have much to offer.
Colwyn Bay didn’t have much to offer. We arrived on Saturday evening and couldn’t find any restaurants open where we were! We ended up driving out to Llandudno for food instead. It was a good base for seeing other areas. The only thing in Colwyn Bay worth visiting is the Welsh mountain zoo.

Rhos on Sea is a delightful seaside town in its own right with easy access to other great holiday places. Within easy reach of Llandudno for shops and Theatre Cymru plus West Bay, Deganwy and Conwy. The A55 allows for an easy trip to Anglesey too. In Rhos Fortes often has a wi-fi connection and eating at Pen y Bryn is always a delight. Wet weather shopping at Tweedmill and Afon Wen near St. Asaph.
Everything: The host, the house, the location... Kevin welcomed us at the house and prepared a wonderful welcome package for the kids (and us). The house is in a perfect condition, very cosy and well equipped, including a lovely Garden Room. The seaside and a bus stop are within walking distance. We enjoyed discovering Rhos on Sea, Colwyn Bay, Llandudno and Snowdonia National Park. We can't recommend it enough and hope to be back again soon!
Property was immaculate. Set in a quiet area but still close to walk to the Promenade and town. Spacious with separate sitting area and kitchen. Fridge pre stocked with all that you need and breakfast was fantastic
No issue to accommodate my wife having gluten intolerance
Excellent base for exploring area
Owner Jane great help and provides mobile number to contact her
Would highly recommend to any couple making a visit to the area
Everything the bus stops either outside or bottom of road on the promenade
The owners do anything you ask very DOG FRIENDLY and they got rather large sausage after breakfast, room exceedingly warm had turn radiator off,was huge room and unique step upto ensuite shower and down to wash basin
Lovely quiet area walking distance of colwyn bay fantastic bus service well we never had any problems
The room was incredibly clean and was comfortable with good facilities. The lady who welcomed us and served us breakfast was friendly and very helpful, and the breakfast itself was enjoyable. The location was excellent, just a short walk to colwyn bay and the village centre and parking was free. Overall my expectations went above what I expected for a 2* and I would stay again.
Owners were fantastic hosts in every possible way. Great location. Good breakfasts, immaculately clean and well organized. They were helpful in supplying ideas about the area. They were very kind and thoughtful to everyone. Of all of the dozens of B&B'S we have stayed in, theirs is the best. Everything about the stay was perfect.
The only meal served is breakfast which was exceptional and the waitresses could not do enough for you. there was also a good selection on the menu. The room was cleaned every day. All the staff were very friendly. Bottles of hand gel were placed in the room and and around the hotel to keep you safe.
Very welcoming and friendly hosts, amazing location, quiet and peaceful accommodation and surroundings. Hygiene standards very high. Lovely view of the beach, sea and promenade. Great for long walks and relaxation. I hope to return very soon to the colbourn, one of the best vacations I've had.

Great house, excellent decor and feel to the place. Loads of room in the house, we were one couple and 3 singles and there was loads of room and we weren't on top of each other. Great central location in Colwyn bay as well. I will be booking again for next year.
Fantastic 2 bed apartment with sea views. Great room for the kids. A good TV with reliable internet. Cool kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine. What more could you ask for?! Right in the middle of Rhos and Colwyn bay close to Conwy and Llandudno.
The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and warm, just the ticket for our group. Great location, 5mins walk to Colwyn Bay centre, and handy for walks into Old Colwyn also. Our hosts were very communicative and accommodating - excellent all round.
Very accessible from surrounding areas.
Very quiet relaxing clean and looked after. lot of effort put in to ensure best stay possible.
Would recommend this place instead of hotels or that. Everything needed in one spot
The bed is comfy , the breakfast was good (English breakfast), the staff was really nice and welcoming and the room smelled and was cleaned. The hotel was really quiet when we were staying.
Room was very clean, staff were extremely helpful and really friendly. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Staff had plenty of advice on local area and restaurants etc
