I have stayed in more expensive hotels nearby and this has everything they have and more. Fantastically equipped clean rooms. There was a desk for me to work at. The staff were also excellent, especially the young man who checked me in, who was extremely helpful and welcoming.

Never knew how much there is to do here! We had a lovely walk into town and popped into a few of the older pubs (highly recommend Minerva, Ye Olde Black Boy and Fretwells). Was much busier than expected on Saturday afternoon! Then visited the museum quarter the next day and loved it. Will be returning to do some of the trails! Locals friendly, especially en route to and at the football ground. Only thing that could have made it better was if Hull had let us have all 3 points!

Marina area & museums excellent.
Marina area & museums excellent. Old town quite tatty & not much to see. Recommend Hull as a base with 1 day to walk around + 1 museum + 1 more for the Deep & another museum. Highly recommend beautiful Beverley for a visit

I used to study there sometime in the last century.
I used to study there sometime in the last century. It is a quirky and interesting city, not beautiful like Edinburgh or Venice but that doesn't mean there isn't a lot of beauty to be found if you take a close look.
Hull gets slagged off by people who have never been there, which is very unfair. It has a lot of history and nice architecture. And compared to most other major cities it's cheap as chips (and the chips are very good!)
Arrive there via the magnificent Humber Bridge. Visit the Ferens Art Gallery. Take in a show at Hull Truck, The New Theatre or the World Class Don Roy Theatre at the university campus. And enjoy the revitalised harbour and Old Town

Currently there are road works near the hotel .
Currently there are road works near the hotel . That and poor sat nav directions made negotiating the roads entering the outskirts of the city difficult. I know Hull is a great city to visit once there.
I would avoid sat nav and head for the signs for the Humber Bridge before turning onto the Beverley road to find the hotel.
We booked an apartment across the city that was cancelled 12hrs before our stay. This hotel was booked at 10pm night before and came up trumps.
Very clean and comfortable.
Easy access to the MKM stadium (walk) and city centre (via taxi)
Only issue i had was Michael Flatley at 7.30am in the room above, not hotels fault though.
All in all enjoyed our stay and what Hull had to offer.
The location was perfect overlooking the Marina yet a quick walk over the bridge into the city centre and the Bonus arena. All staff we encountered during our stay were lovely and friendly from the receptionists to the breakfast ladies. Although the bar 'closed' we were able to continue drinking late, ordering via reception. The hotel felt much more upmarket than expected.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good considering the hotel was still operating under Covid restrictions - limited choice delivered to the table. The hotel is in a wonderful location with views of the River Humber - drinks enjoyed on the terrace enjoying this view in the evening sunshine
It was on route and suitable for an overnight stop. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. We didn’t check in till 9pm which was fine and we were checked in with a smile. Therefore a cheap 2 star hotel which meet our expectations
Great location and stylish accommodation in the centre of Hull right next to the Marina. This is my go to place when I am working in Hull. Always clean, really comfortable beds and great coffee left for the morning.
The property was in a great location, a few minutes walk from the marina & hull city centre.
The apartment was cleaned to a high standard and had everything you would need in a self catering accommodation.
The location of the hotel is very good, staff is wonderful and very friendly. Very quiet throughout the night, and the rooms are quite spacious. I loved it and will be sure to stay there again!
Can't say because the hotel cancelled via an email just a few minutes before we arrived. We should have checked in at 12.00 but they sent email cancelling our stay at 12.45
Great location near to both marina and city centre with shops/pubs/restaurants. Free parking space. Fairly quiet. Nicely decorated and furnished. Would stay here again.
Fantastic location, a few minutes walk tothe marina and city centre. Even though it doesn't have a car park, there is a multi-storey around the corner at £3 for 24 hrs.
The staff are pleasant and the breakfast is good overall it’s cheaper than some of its competitors the hotel has plenty of parking and is east of hull.
