Everything was true the description. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. The garden was very private and we enjoyed sitting out with a glass of wine. The location is excellent for visiting both the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District.

To the outside of the property is off road parking for one car and a lawned garden with patio, decking and furniture. Located in stunning countryside, Old Crow Trees Barn is a fabulous cottage in a fabulous part of the country. Note: Adults only.

The quiet village of Melling, in the lovely Lune Valley, is bordered by the famous Lake District to the north, and the Yorkshire Dales to the east. A delightful village situated close to where the River Wenning joins the River Lune. Nearby Hornby Castle is set on a high hill overlooking the river. Consisting of a scattering of traditional stone built houses, a beautiful Norman church and several 'undiscovered' quiet walks around the village and other, more frequented walks and places of interest close by.
