We often visit st Ann’s but never stayed over sadly. Well worth a visit if you want a relaxing place to stay. We are two pensioners and maybe not for a young couple but ideal for a young family and over 50s
A nice place to chill out in my opinion much more upmarket than Blackpool. There are plenty of eating places it all comes down to individual choice & like Blackpool there are plenty buses & trains to go for a day out. The beach is much less crowded Than Blackpool to go for a good walk.
A real gem. Lytham St Anne’s is a lovely Victorian grand seaside town with just enough amusements etc. There are lots of family things to do such as hire a beach for the day, the pier, crazy golf, walks . Very clean, with wide roads and grand houses. The seafront & town are very clean. Are at a lovely Italian restaurant ‘ Allegria’ in the town.
Lytham St Annes is a traditional seaside resort with an atmosphere of how holidays used to be, although, it is within easy reach of Blackpool for those who require more entertainment. There are hotels which offer entertainment for families and younger travellers particularly if the weather is not good and bus connections to Blackpool are frequent and not expensive. There is a good variety of restaurants in Lytham and Lytham St Annes
We have visited st Annes lots in the past few years its very lovely, the beach is clean and the town has some very nice shops, there are some quaint coffee shops and nice bars we love it. It is lovely and quite with room to relax but also handy to go into the hustle and bustle of Blackpool for an hour or two. I would love to live there one day and so would our dogs .
LOVELY BEACH AT LYTHAM STANNES, EASY TO COMMUTE TO BLACKPOOL AND SURROUNDING AREAS. QUIETER THAN BLACKPOOL. LYTHAM TOWN IS A BUSTLING WITH CAFES AND RESTAURANTS TIGGIS IN STANNES IS A GOOD ITALIAN RESTAURANT

Very friendly welcome and I was offered a drink and a seat while I waited to check in. Lovely comfortable and clean room with plenty of pillows. Proper tea and good sized mugs unlike many hotels. The bath tub was spacious and comfortable, really nice for a long soak. Breakfast was lovely with efficient and friendly service. Great location for walking along the estuary, as well as to local shops.

The hotel was very Clean and the staff friendly, a lovely choice for breakfast and the location of the hotel was great with plenty to do close by. It had a lovely comfy seated area at the front of the hotel where you could enjoy a drink in the sunshine. We will certainly pay another visit to Lytham st Anne's and will book the Carlton Hotel again.

Wow what a beautiful place to stay, the apartment was absolutely stunning and spotless. Everything from the booking to the arrival was professionally handled. The little touches of fresh flowers, buns, milk etc make it an even better experience. You will not regret booking here x
