The Orchard Cottage is situated in an idylic orchard garden surrounded by apple and plum trees. The views of the River Till and the Cheviots are wonderful. If you are looking for peace and tranquility, then this is the place for you. Fishing available on River Till. Some great walking too. The property is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). Great location near to Berwick-upon-Tweed, and Scottish Borders
The Orchard Cottage is based at Tiptoe Farm which is a working arable farm situated on The River Till which is SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) and provides salmon and sea trout fishing. Anthony and Lucy grow wheat, barley both organically and conventionally. We also grow 14 varieties of heritage potatoes. There are some great walks around this idyllic and peaceful area. I meet guests on arrival, and then I am always contactable by email, text or telephone.
We are close to the Scottish Borders and Berwick upon tweed and Alnwick. Guests can park easily at the farm and they will need their car to get to the shops.
