Otters Retreat is an apartment where we operate "Managed" Bed & Breakfast. The Bed & Breakfast apartment for 2 people, is within our mountain view home. It is very private with its own access and offers the space, privacy and luxury not often found in a B & B. The apartment is on the lower ground floor at the rear of the house, here in Big Sand. For your stay, we provide a very generous selection of continental breakfast items, which you can prepare yourself in the privacy of your own apartment, when-ever you wish! For weekly stays in 2024 we provide a welcome hamper which includes Wine or Champagne. Your apartment has everything you need for the perfect holiday. It has its own sitting room with large screen tv, which includes Netflix etc. There are books and a selection of board games for the rainy days. It offers a shower-room and also a washing machine. Well equipped kitchen.. Integral and linked smoke alarms throughout the whole property including our space upstairs. During the summer there are plenty of places to eat out, the nearest just a short walk via the beach. The whole apartment is very comfortable with central heating. We supply a very large selection of Continental Breakfast items - teas, coffees, milk, juice, yogurt, range of cereals, home made granola and marmalade, toastie bread, criossants, bowl of fresh fruit, preserves, biscuits and cake, cheese, ham, butter, porridge, fresh eggs. Hamper with wine or champagne and flowers depending on length of stay.

Otters Retreat Apartment is in a very quiet location. Ideally based for hiking, and many outdoor pursuits. We are just a few minutes walk from the beach, one mile from nearest shop, bar, restaurant, take-away, and 4 miles from Gairloch which has a pharmacy, supermarket, farm shop, fish and chip shop, tourist information, coffee shop, bars and hotels and museum. You can book all kinds of trips to see dolphins, whales and the famous Inverewe Gardens are a short drive away. The beach is very clean and safe, and the sea ideal for kayaking, wild swimming, sailboarding, paddle boarding, windsurfing. The area is outstandingly beautiful, with the Torridon mountain range, Isle of Sky, Outer Hebrides all possible to see from the front of the property.
