Beautifully appointed accommodation and within walking distance to the centre of the town. The best shower I have ever used and I loved the igloo in the garden. Perfect for sitting in with the gin and tonic, that I found in the fridge, and a good book. Margaret, the hostess, is exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Property information

Located in a quiet cul-de-sac in Abergavenny, in front of the main town’s Park, and quick and flat four minute walk to the centre of Abergavenny. Park Lane Rooms provide modern-day furnished rooms, with a contemporary finish. Each room with its personal entrance from the garden, has a terrace to sit on. There is a local bar and restaurant within 200 hundred metres, with additional cafes, bars and eating places a few minutes further. The communal garden with a large terrace with seating, privately enclosed, with a clearer acrylic dome for lounging in. Enjoy the dome when the climate isn’t for outside seating, have a look at the stars on a clear night and experience a drink in this peaceful garden. Each room, has free WiFI, flat screen TV, large shower head with plenty of flowing water to enjoy and refresh, and a small minibar with some free treats! Each of the beds, manufactured in the UK, are topped with luxury pocket sprung mattresses, dressed in 300 thread count linen for that perfect sleep. We don’t serve any food, but you're a very short stroll for your food, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner in one of the incredible bars, restaurants or cafes in Abergavenny. If you’re in the mood to stay in, or relax in the garden, you are welcome to enjoy a drink and takeaway till 10pm.

Neighbourhood information

Close to the town centre, with only a few minutes flat walk with cafes, restaurants and local independent shops. Your are within walking distance of the local castle and museum. Within a short traveling distance you can be at the foot of some lovely hill walks, cycling paths and two Vine Yards.
