Borth is a delightful seaside village that provides an ideal base for you to explore both locally and further afield, benefitting from its own train station with regular trains up the coast to Pwllheli or down to Aberystwyth. The estuary and sand dunes at Ynyslas are great for walks and exploring. Aberystwyth - easily reachable by train, bus, car or on foot along the coastal path. Red kite centre and Dyfi Osprey project. Machynellth for the market and a wander round the shops. Silver Mountain experience - great for children, as is the Butterfly house up past Aberystwyth. Borth and Ynyslas Golf Club for great links golf. The 512 bus runs through Borth regularly throughout the day from Ynyslas to Aberystwyth via Bow Street. The train station is a 10-minute walk with regular trains to Aberystwyth and Machynlleth, which will also provide further travel to Birmingham or take a train up the coast to Pwllheli with dramatic views along the coast for much of the journey.
