Atlantic Hotel, hotel in Tenby

Relax in the Bar and lounge which also overlook South Beach and Caldey Island. Drinks can also be enjoyed on our Terrace. Unwind in our indoor heated swimming pool and heated loungers.

The whole hotel was immaculate , as was my room. All the staff i spoke to including reception , dining room bar staff and room prep team and the gardener , were so helpful and polite. I needed an extra night at short notice , the reception team were fantastic, no hassle. The breakfast was excellent with a great choice and specials if you wanted more choice. The outside Italian gardens just across the road ,are immaculatley kept and the outside seating area with the sea view was stunning. the hotels own car park was 40mts away and really handy. All the staff were very friendly, and helpfully which is unusual these days, location of the hotel is good out of the town centre, but in walking distance We stayed here because of the restaurant which was excellent, we had one of the premium rooms over looking the golf course which was large, and clean

There are a lot of boarded up shops obviously the impact post Covid many businesses have Closed. The railway station from which I embarked was a disgrace no adequate disability access particularly for visual or hearing impairment , if you have to get across the tracks to access the platform for the return trip. no toilet. Generally looks a very unloved station so not a good way to be greeted when you arrive but generally there are still a good range of shops tea rooms and places to eat.

Interesting characterful town. Nice water front and harbour. RNLI boat shed and shop. Restaurants and cafes. Recommend the Life Boat Tavern. At busy times, car parks fill quickly. Recommend walking or taxis.

Nice setting, and plenty of good restaurants. Terrible for parking. Seems to be an important money maker for town to issue parking tickets at first break of daylight. Had two parking tickets in 5 days although parking in what looked like free parking. Second time was only for 5 minutes while loading the car, going home.

We tend to visit Tenby out of season as in mid-summer, with the schools off it would be very busy. Nice little town overlooking two great beaches. South beach is huge when the tide is out. Plenty of pubs/cafés etc. though in high season I suggest booking ahead for tables if you can. Spring 2024 taxi trips within the town area are £5.00.

Location is great, only a short walk into Tenby. Quiet area so no noise during the night. Spa facilities great, only two other couples were using the spa during our slot so no overcrowding. Hotel is kept lovely, room was a really high standard. Staff were all friendly and we didn’t have to ask for anything. Robes and water waiting for us in the room. Good toiletries provided. Lovely gentleman taking care of us in the restaurant in the evening.

I love this hotel. For the quintessential British seaside holiday in a grand Edwardian seafront hotel it can’t be beaten. Twelve foot high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows capturing the magnificent view of beach and harbour, and right bang in the middle of town. And a short walk to the station makes it easy if you don’t come with a car. The staff were delightful from Ali’s welcome at reception to Debbie’s friendliness at breakfast.

Location was excellent as the apartment is situated in the middle of town with easy walking distance to shops, seafront and harbour. Very pleased that the property came with parking. The apartment was very quiet. Not sure if there was anyone else in the building as we didn't hear anyone. The bedroom was dark, so good night's sleep. Kitchen was well equipped. We liked the lighting in the kitchen.

We had a lovely stay. The location between Tenby and Saundersfoot was great as you could walk to either town. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and gave excellent advice about what we could do in the area. The room and ensuite were modern and clean. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options available. We would highly recommend Pen Mar.
