Rossmoor cottage is a traditional stone built farm building conversion at Bogridge Farm. Situated in a beautiful country setting yet just 15 mins to Harrogate and Leeds. South facing with velux roof windows, it has a lovely light and airy feel. Upstairs there is a good size galleried double bedroom with ensuite bathroom off the hall and staircase. The second bedroom is on the groundfloor, with a kingsize bed that can be made in to a twin room (2 x 2'6" singles) if requested. There is also a ground floor house bathroom with a large walk in shower. Rossmoor cottage is accessed from its own walled patio area in to a goodsize hallway. Off the hall, the living/dining/kitchen area is open plan, the lovely high ceiling retains the original old pine perlins. The full kitchen is equipped with every thing you may need to self cater for your stay (no dishwasher), there are dining seats and sofa seats for 4 people and a log effect gas burner for those cosy winter evenings in. Patio doors open the living room outside, great for Alfresco dining in the warmer months. Ideal for business travellers and holidaymakers alike. A welcome pack of tea, cofee, milk, fruit & biscuits is provided.

Myself and my husband enjoy welcoming guests to our cottages from many countries around the world, some visiting family in and around the Harrogate/Leeds area, Families with young children taking advantage of the play garden. Rossmoor Cottage is ideal for a couple wanting a peaceful retreat or romantic getaway and those visiting with older parents who appreciate the groundfloor bedroom and bathroom. We also welcome business travellers attending exhibitions, fairs and trade shows in Harrogate whether buying or selling. We love the wildlife and outdoors and totally appreciate how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful place. Our land is rented to a neighbour, so we still have cows and sheep grazing in the fields and we run our landscape gardening business from the farm. Much of our time is spent with gardens, gardening, plants and flowers . We feed and encourage the birds often seeing woodpeckers, nuthatch, finches, pheasants and many other common garden birds at the feeders. If you are lucky you may see badgers and wild deer and you will definately see redkites and buzzards.

The best of both worlds, it looks like we are in the middle of nowhere yet in 15 minutes you can get to Harewood House, Harlow Carr Gardens, Rudding Park Golf, 20 minutes into the centre of Harrogate a Victorian Spa town for shopping,Bettys cafe & tearooms, Valley gardens and why not try the water and take a turkish bath. We have a train station in the village, Weeton Station, walkable or just a short drive with direct trains to Leeds, Harrogate and York if you don't fancy driving in to town. A little further by car takes you into the Yorkshire Dales, areas of outstanding natural beauty. If you enjoy walking there are footpaths from the doorstep over to Almscliff Crag, Stainburn or a short drive over to the resevoirs of Fewston, Swinsty and Thrusscross. There are good country pubs within a 5 minute drive and plenty of restaurants supplying all from a burger to fine dining in and around Harrogate and the local villages of Kirby Overblow, Beckwithshaw and Pool in Wharfedale.
