All guests have use of both shepherd's huts, with WiFi, and the 'Cosy Cocoon' pod. Close to the village of Pontsticill by the Taff Fechan Reservoir in The Brecon Beacons National Park. Easy access to Bike Park Wales, Zip World Tower, Pen Y Fan & The Four Waterfalls Walk, Walking, cycling & other activities are available nearby, or just relax, enjoying the wildlife & tranquillity, with a short walk to the local pubs for meals & speciality ales. Firepit logs & kindling provided! These pair of purpose designed shepherd’s huts, with pod included, form a luxury glamping experience for UP TO FIVE people & are situated on a smallholding adjacent to The Taff Trail. The private pitch includes a non-slip decking area, a firepit and BBQ area, a private garden with outstanding views, a patio garden with canopy & two Shetlands in the paddock as neighbours. Both huts benefit from underfloor heating beneath an oak floor. Our "Cosy Cocoon" is set in the huts' private garden, with 4ft double mattress, USB ports and lights. Its roll-back insulated roof & integral canopies allows you to sleep comfortably beneath the moon & stars! The Brecon Beacons National Park has 'Dark Skies' status! We have parking next to the huts for a maximum of 2 vehicles.

Our farm house is within close proximity of the huts , yet they have generous enclosed private garden, patio & deck area for guests' sole use. (Just to clarify - All guests have both shepherd's huts with interconnecting deck for their private use, plus the pod ) We are on hand to help you enjoy your stay, but are quite happy to keep our distance & let you do your own thing. Again our ponies and English Pointer, Bailey, can be remote, although they're also happy to make new friends.

The village of Pontsticill has two country pubs offering food and real ales. Many of our guests complete the Brecon Beacons Four Waterfalls Walk, while others enjoy the challenge of hiking up Pen Y Fan - the highest peak in the Brecon Beacons. Our cyclists enjoy the local trails and often a visit to Bike Park Wales. The Brecon Mountain Steam Railway is close by and we're situated between both stations, with the train on the mountain above. Pontsticill Station overlooks The Taff Fechan (Pontsticill) Reservoir close by. On cloud free nights you can gaze at the stars. Wildlife watchers have plenty to see - Woodpeckers, Herons, Sparrow Hawks, Red Kites, Foxes, Hedgehogs, Rabbits, Nut Hatches, Robins, Longtail Tits and many other garden birds and owls - we can't promise you'll see them all, but they're all frequent visitors here.
