Fashionably named due to the fact that it is surrounded by a host of world renowned golf courses and home to the only Open Championship golf course located in South East England - the world renowned Royal St George's Golf Club. You will find yourself in the heart of Sandwich town and on the doorstep of the renowned Sandwich Guildhall Museum. • The kitchen comes fully equipped with all the appliances you will need including an espresso machine, integrated fridge-freezer, microwave, stove and combination oven, kettle and toaster. • With open plan living featuring a cosy corner sofa, armchair and dining table, The apartment can comfortably accommodate up to four guests, making it the ideal spot to escape to for the weekend with family or friends. • The apartment also features one king size bedroom. Last but not least, is the family bathroom with a large bath tub to soak in after a long day exploring the coastal town. P.s. Yes... Sandwich is named after the food!

If you are looking to stay in the centre of Sandwich, then look no further! You will find yourself in the heart of the town and on the doorstep of the renowned Sandwich Guildhall Museum, separated by a bustling square teeming with market stalls and a host of local pop-ups. You’ll also find yourself surrounded by an array of boutique shops and amazing sights steeped in history. From exploring the town, to walks on the beach, to emulating Open Championship triumph at the Royal St George’s – you’ll be spoilt for choice as to how you spend your time away. Sandwich is one of the Cinque Ports (meaning “five ports” in Norman French) – a confederation of English Channel ports. Today, only Dover remains a significant port, but you will still find many original medieval buildings, including several listed public houses, churches and smock mills in Sandwich. Also, we know you’re thinking it… and you are correct. The town of Sandwich gives its name to the food thanks to John Montagu, 4th Earl of Sandwich. As the story goes, he was playing cards and did not want to leave the table so asked for his serving of roast beef to be placed between two slices of bread!
