The Garden Flat is a cosy, one bedroom, ground floor bolt hole. Situated just off the Exe trail cycle/walking route and Jurassic coastline, with easy access to Exeter canal and only a minutes' walk from two miles of sandy beach. It's the perfect base for a couple or small family looking to explore Exmouth and beyond. Enjoy Michael Caines restaurant 'Mickeys', on Exmouth seafront for a special treat or hop on a boat trip with Stuart Line Cruises for a different view of the Jurassic Coast. A gate from the private parking area suitable for one car leads you into a private outside space with decking and comfortable seating. A few steps take you to the front door that leads into a bright open plan living space that has been lovingly renovated by the owners. There is a kitchen with integrated appliances. Dining area for four guests. Comfortable seating with two sofas (one is a sofa bed that can be made up on request for a small extra charge, please enquire). The separate bedroom has a double bed (this bed is very comfortable but please note it is low to the floor) and a separate en suite shower room with shower, w.c and sink. The flat has a parking space and a private, gated entrance. The enclosed decking area has seating and shed storage to keep any water sports equipment in, plus space beside it to store larger equipment upright, such as paddle boards. There is also an outside (cold) tap to hose down any sandy bodies and boards after a day at the beach! One pet accepted at an extra charge

Exmouth’s two-mile sandy beach is great for paddling, swimming and building sandcastles. There are rock pools and areas suitable for windsurfing and water skiing. The town has a wealth of tea houses, restaurants and take-aways, numerous historic inns, night spots and live shows. But on the other hand, if you seek none of these, Exmouth is also for those who enjoy the simple pleasures of the outdoors, or watching the world go by, with modern comforts close at hand. A bustling waterfront with the constant activity of working and pleasure craft, windsurfing, water skiing, boat trips to Torbay or up the River Exe to Topsham, are all on offer. Sideshore is an exciting new area with Michael Caines new Beach Bar and Restaurant called Mickey’s having recently opened. Edge Watersports & Exewake offer all kinds of activities from kitesurfing & water-skiing to paddle boarding & yoga.
