The property is accessed via a rough track and there is direct access to the loch. . The House on the Point is the oldest house in Kylerhea and as per the name, sits on the point at Kylerhea and is a mere 10-12 feet from the “Hide Tide line”. There is nothing better than to sit in the sun room watching the tide come in, and hearing the waves as they hit the rocks right in front of your eyes. Sleeping upstairs can also be accompanied by listening to the loch and the surrounding wildlife. In the field behind the cottage are the owner’s Hebridean sheep, and back again are their two Shetland ponies. You really will have your own haven away from the hustle and bustle, as the cottage is at the end of a wee track so hearing traffic is a rarity.
