Hello and welcome! I’m thrilled that you are looking at one of our properties to rent. I have been a private landlord for over 30 years. As a mother of four boys I’m extremely practical, and pride myself on a very high level of cleanliness and comfort in our properties. I use professional cleaners and a laundry service as part of my team, and I regularly inspect everything to ensure it meets my high standards. Every property we own as a family has been lived in and tried out by us to ensure that everything works, everything is comfortable and well maintained. I have travelled widely with my family, and have lived abroad for long periods of time, and so I understand the requirement for a “better than home” experience for travellers. In this “new normal”, I want to reassure you that we will provide a safe and clean environment for you with all the appropriate social distancing measures in place. I’m looking forward to having you to stay.
Bartley Mill Farmhouse, where the Lavendrye is also located, is situated in a small hamlet, centred between three small villages, and about 8 minutes drive to the centre of Tunbridge Wells, yet in deep, quiet countryside. Because of our rural nature, the car is still the best way to get here. Alternatively, a bus service - 256- travels along the Bayham Abbey Road, the B2169, between Bells Yew Green, and Frant train station, towards Lamberhurst. Our closest train station 1.5 miles away is Frant, on a direct line from Charing Cross, Waterloo, London Bridge and Cannon Street in London.
