The location is great, out in the countryside and so peaceful!! Our host Fiona really took time out to make us welcome and even provided a high tea when we arrived. Breakfast was all we could expect and the room also has a great view across the countryside. Our bedroom was well appointed and the bed itself was great. As a result, we had the best nights sleep for days.

You’ll feel the peace and quiet of no neighbours whilst being able to enjoy easy and close access to all the amenities you may need. On arrival you can enjoy a selection of complimentary, home made sandwiches, scones, cakes and treats, the perfect way to start your Northumbrian break. Choose from our three beautiful rooms, Barn Owl is kingsized room (which can be made into twin beds on request) with ensuite bathroom with a walk in power shower, Eagle Owl has a kingsized bed (which can be made into twin beds on request) and has a shower over the large bath. Snow Owl is a ground floor twin room that has been adapted to ensure it is suitable for mobility disabilities and welcomes dogs. All guests are welcome to use the spacious guest lounge and the grounds throughout their stay. Breakfast is served in the guest lounge.
