It was very clean and looked like new inside. There are 4 bedrooms 3 of which are large and plenty of seats in the lounge and in the kitchen and conservatory. We were a group of 4 but there was room for 8 . There was a dishwasher, washer and enough crockery for a large group. It is in a quiet estate away from the main road

The Oaks is very clean and comfortable, walking distance from Oxenholme station, which worked well for us. Joe's response to fixing minor issue was very quick.

We were self catering. The property was very modern, extremely well presented. The rooms were spotless. Clean fresh bedding and towels. Modern kitchen with all the appliances and utensils you could possibly need. The property is located only ten miles from Windermere and is perfect for a holiday to the lakes and benefits from having good shopping close by. The host was easily contactable, not that we had to, and getting the key was very straightforward. Milk, coffee and tea were left for us on arrival too-a great touch for a self catering stay.

Great location, an ASDA in easy walking distance and off street parking for two cars at the property. It is a lovely house to return to after long walks exploring the area. All amenities available to make a home cooked meal and relax watching TV. Joe, the owner, is quick to respond to any questions.

The property was clean and tidy, plenty of space, and suited our purpose perfectly. A "good walk" to get into town, but perfect if that's your thing. Very useful to have supermarket close by for provisions on arrival. Easy parking for our 4 motorcycles.

I loved the freshness of the house (the light walls) It was very cosy...it was so comfortable I wanted to sleep in every room, I would have slept under the stairs it was that clean and nice. I liked that everything was there eg washing machine, cleaning products, Iron, hair dryer.
