There are six holiday properties at Knowlton, which accommodate between two and 21 people. Each is beautifully appointed and furnished with every modern convenience, providing the perfect place to relax. 1.Dower House: Stunning Elizabethan House sleeps 21 across 10 bedrooms, 8 ensuite plus 2 private bathrooms. There is a huge well equipped kitchen with dining room to seat 22, large sitting room with open fire, library, snug and cellar games room with pool table and darts. The house is surrounded by extensive private gardens with courtyard seating, fire pit & BBQ 2. Tickenhurst House: Charming Farmhouse on the edge of the estate which sleeps 12 across 5 double or twin rooms plus a downstairs room with twin beds. 2 are ensuite plus 2 shower rooms. Large sitting room with log burner and Dining room to seat 12. The house is down a private drive with secluded gardens. 3. The Lodge: The gatehouse to Knowlton Court Estate. Sleeps 8 across 3 double or twin rooms, plus 1 twin room. 2 are ensuite plus 1 family bathroom. Large well equipped kitchen, open plan sitting with open fire and dining room. Good size private secure gardens. 4. Home Farm: A traditional farmhouse which sleeps 6/8 in 3 double or twin rooms, plus a downstairs sofa bed in the dining room. 2 bathrooms a well equipped kitchen, sitting room with open fire. Good size garden with BBQ and seating in season. 5. Woodpecker View: Small 1st floor 1 bed flat overlooking the stable yard. Open plan Kitchenette, sitting room with dining table. A double or twin bedded room with ensuite shower room.

Described as a 'timeless work of Tudor history', Knowlton was built in 1585 by Sir Thomas Peyton Baronetcy; the estate became the property of Sir John Narborough in the 18th century before being passed to the D'Aeth family in the 19th century. A working farm, Knowlton is under the stewardship of the Fox-Pitt family, one of Britain's best-known equestrian families and whose passion for agriculture, environment, conservation and preservation will see it carefully handed to the next generation.
