The property is within easy walking distance of the local village pub, the shores of Glen Shiel and the Glenfinnan Viaduct, made more famous from the Harry Potter movies. It’s also only a short walk away from the railway station which holds the Glenfinnan Station Museum, and the West Coast mainline, which has been voted as one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world. The property has fishing rights for loch fishing. The National Trust Scotland Visitor Centre and Glenfinnan Monument are well worth a visit. The 60ft high monument offers breathtaking views over Loch Shiel. Boat trips on Loch Shiel give you the opportunity to see golden eagles, white-tailed eagles, red deer, and a wide variety of other wildlife. Torr Caladh is a great base to explore the area.
