I have personally lived in this house myself, it is the perfect distance from the centre. It is close to some of Cretes best beaches in the north west like Balos, Phalasarna and the south west beaches like Sougia, Palaiochora and Elafonissi. The house itself sits just below Platanias and Agia marina.
